Hi, I am an ordinary person who has an ordinary life, but I am also someone who is inspired by the word of God and the world around me. For a long time I thought that to be a Christian I had to meet certain criteria and be a certain way, kind of having to fit the mould of what other people said being a Christian looked like. But I also found that I never quite fitted in or was able to squeeze into any mould. This has made for some very painful and difficult times. A friend once put it to me like this: "We are all sausages in a sausage factory and you are a slice of bacon", its is an interesting way of describing how my Christian experience has been over the years. But it has also acted to help me seek out who God created me to be and be comfortable with me. I have discovered that the Christian life is not necessarily marked out by deep theological knowledge or behaving in a certain way. Nor is it necessarily a series of spiritual highs and lows that somehow move us. And it is not necessarily easy, in fact it can be tough at times. We all need to learn and grow in a daily encounter and walk with Jesus, no matter what we are facing we need to bring Jesus into the centre of it all. I have learned that Jesus wants to be part of all our lives, the good, the not so good and the very messy parts of our day to day lives. On the website I want to encourage and inspire you to take hold of Jesus hand and walk with Him. As I said before I am an ordinary person who is walking has walked an extraordinary life path and continues to walk with Jesus today. My desire is to encourage you in your walk so please take what is helpful to you and allow the Lord to take you further and deeper as you walk with Him.
